College Basketball

Does every college and university in the United States have a basketball team? Sure seems like it. As with all college sports, some teams and leagues compete in all sports, while other do not.

Basketball in the NCAA is aligned along the traditional conferences, with the Final Four Championship tournament held by the NCAA to declare an overall champion, for Division I. There are also championship tournaments for Division II and Division II schools.

Canadian Universities also have organized basketball as a sport. Not nearly as well recognized as the frenzy south of the border surrounding this sport however. We have listed the leagues and links for reference.

Womens NCAA basketball pages including past champions by division are also on our site.
