Previous Annual CHL Awards Winners
The Canadian Hockey League (Major Junior
A) is the world's largest hockey league. The CHL consists
of 3 leagues - the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, the
Ontario Hockey League and the Western Hockey League - and
54 teams. The CHL's 54 teams are located in 8 Canadian provinces
and 4 American states.
In May of each year the playoff champions of each league and
a host team compete for the Memorial Cup. The Memorial Cup
has been awarded annually since 1919.
The CHL is the major source of talent for the National Hockey
