Womens North American professional soccer has undergone a variety of changes in the past few years with the emergance of the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) as the elite league and the merger of the former W1 and W2 leagues into the W League, one large developmental system, under the United Soccer Leagues. With these kind of major changes the W-League is in a state of flux, but our pages indicate the alignments as of the 2002 season.
